1. Agreeing to these terms
These terms govern your use of the website of YSHJ & Co. LLP. By using the website you accept them, along with our Privacy Policy, our Cookie Policy and our Disclaimer. If you do not accept them, please do not use the website.
2. What this website is for
It is here so that anyone who wants to know about the Firm and its partners can find out, of their own accord. It is not an advertisement and it is not an approach for work. That is a requirement of the Chartered Accountants Act, 1949 and of the Council Guidelines of the Institute of Chartered Accountants of India, and we mean to keep to it.
3. Reading this is not engaging us
Nothing on this website is professional advice, and nothing on it is an offer to act for you. Reading a page or sending an enquiry does not make you a client.
We become your accountants only when a partner signs an engagement letter with you. That letter says what the work is, what it costs and on what terms we do it.
4. When you write to us
When you send an enquiry you are telling us that what you have written is true, that you are entitled to give us those details, and that you have read the consent line on the form.
Please do not send us anything confidential or privileged until an engagement letter is signed and a partner has told you it is safe to send.
5. Using the website
You are welcome to read these pages and to print them for your own reference.
Please do not copy, scrape, alter or republish what is here without our written permission. Do not send malicious code. Do not try to get into any part of the website you have not been given access to, including the Administration area. And do not use the website for anything unlawful.
6. Who owns what is here
The text, the layout, the name YSHJ & Co. LLP and the way it is set all belong to the Firm or to whoever licensed them to us. They are protected by the Copyright Act, 1957, the Trade Marks Act, 1999 and the international treaties India is party to.
7. Links to other websites
This website links to a map service, and may link to others. We do not control those websites and we are not responsible for what they contain or what they do with your data.
8. What we are not liable for
The website is provided as it is, with no warranty of any kind.
So far as the law permits, neither the Firm nor its partners nor anyone working with us is liable for any loss or damage, direct or indirect, that follows from your using this website or relying on what it says.
9. Governing law
These terms are governed by the law of India, and subject to the clause on disputes below, the courts at Mumbai in Maharashtra have exclusive jurisdiction.
If you are reading this from outside India, you have come here of your own accord and it is for you to comply with your own country's law. Nothing here is an offer to act for you where making such an offer would be unlawful. Where your country's consumer or data-protection law gives you rights that cannot be signed away, these terms do not take them away.
10. If there is a dispute
Raise it with a partner first, and we will try to settle it between us. If thirty days pass without a settlement, it goes to a single arbitrator under the Arbitration and Conciliation Act, 1996, sitting in Mumbai, in English.
11. This is an electronic record
This document is an electronic record under the Information Technology Act, 2000 and the rules made under it, so it needs no signature, physical or digital. An email to an address published on this website counts as writing wherever writing is required.
12. The rest
If any part of these terms turns out to be invalid, the rest still stands. We may change these terms by publishing a new version here.
